CONTEMPO SOUNDTRACKS

Armando TROVAJOLI "IERI OGGI DOMANI"
format: Gatefold sleeve LP - 140 gr HQ vinyl
catalogue: C02002LP
Trovajoli’s soundtrack to the great 1964 movie ‘Ieri Oggi Domani’, directed by Vittorio De Sica and starring Sofia Loren and Marcello Mastroianni, finally get a proper reissue since it’s 1964 release on CAM Records.
Composed and directed by Trovajoli, ‘Ieri Oggi Domani’ is an excellent soundtrack inspired by the mood of the 3 episodes which compose the movie. Side A contains the songs inspired by the first episode, ‘Adelina’, and is musically composed of neapolitan folk songs performed by Michele Mattera and traditional instrumental themes with the wise and  modern arrangements of Trovajoli. The last two songs features magnificent jazzy atmospheres. Jazz is the master of Side B, with six superb tunes inspired by episodes 2 and 3, and 2 romantic themes.
Original artwork. Master and sound restoring done by Roberto Zamori at Film Music Art Studio. Original copies change hands for more than 200 euro!!!

Ennio MORRICONE "QUANDO LE DONNE AVEVANO LA CODA"
format: LP - 140 gr HQ vinyl
catalogue: C02001LP
Quando Le Donne Avevano La Coda (When Women Had Tails) is the soundtrack of a bad italian ripoff of One Million Years B.C. recorded in the late 1960s when Morricone was at the height of his psychedelic period.
The music is colorful (that's an understatement!), bouncy, gooey, and completely irresistible. To Morricone fans, this is worth whatever you'd have to pay to get hold of it.
More than this, Quando Le Donne Avevano La Coda is one of the rarest Morricone' scores, with original copies changing hands for 500 euro!!! Originally released by CAM in 1970, it never gets a vinyl reissue since then. Orchestra directed by Bruno Nicolai, featuring Alessandroni's Cantori Moderni.
Reissued in its original artwork. Sound restoring and master done by Roberto Zamori at Film Music Art Studio.

Angelo Francesco LAVAGNINO "KALI-YUG La Dea Della Vendetta"
format: LP - 140 gr HQ vinyl
catalogue: C02003LP
Lavagnino’s soundtrack to the great 1962 movie ‘Kali-Yug La Dea Della Vendetta’ (also known as Goddess Of Vengeance (1963, UK); Kali Yug: Die Göttin Der Rache (1964, Germany); Kali-Yug, Déesse De La Vengeance (1963, France); Vengeance Of Kali (1963, United States), directed by Mario Camerini and starring Senta Berger and Lex Barker, finally get a proper reissue since it’s 1963 release on CAM Records.
Composed and directed by Lavagnino, ‘Kali-Yug’ is one of the best soundtracks ever written by the late Maestro.
Known for his beautiful orchestral themes, Lavagnino outdoes himself in Kali-Yug, with stunning exotic themes which makes this score a must have for serious soundtrack collectors.
Original artwork. Master and sound restoring done by Roberto Zamori at Film Music Art Studio.
Original copies, if you’re lucky enough to find one, change hands for more than 350 euro!!!

CONTEMPO POP ITALIANO

EQUIPE 84 "EQUIPE 84"
format: Gatefold sleeve LP - 140 gr HQ vinyl
catalogue: C03001LP
Equipe 84 debut album, originally released in 1965 on Vedette Records, is one of the rarest and best Italian Beat albums ever done.
As it always happened back then, the album is a collection of hit singles, including powerful italian versions of, amongst others, Time Is On My Side (La Fine Del Libro), And My Baby's Gone (Mi Fa Bene), Ray Davies' Tired Of Waiting For You (Sei Felice), Farmer John (Comiciamo A Suonare Le Chitarre) and more.
A milestone of Italian Beat that have never been reissued since it's 1965 release, excluding an ultra limited picture lp release done in 1995.

EQUIPE 84 "IO HO IN MENTE TE"
format: LP - 140 gr HQ vinyl
catalogue: C03002LP
The follow up to the stunning 1965 debut album, released in 1966 on Ricordi.
Equipe 84 had a huge success that year with the italian version of Sylvia Fricker's You Were On My Mind (Io Ho In Mente Te), and this album remains their most successful and finest work to date.
Along with some catchy original songs, you can find explosive italian versions of I Need Somebody Groovy (Alti Nel Cielo), Funny How Love Can Be (Spiegami Come Mai), the aforementioned You Were On My Mind, Sonny Bono's Bang Bang and more. Italian Beat at its best!
This is the first proper and official vinyl reissue since it's 1966 release.
Original artwork. Sound restoring and master done by Roberto Zamori at Film Music Art Studio.

I RIBELLI "I RIBELLI"
format: LP - 140 gr HQ vinyl
catalogue: C03003LP
I Ribelli were an italian band originally set as Adriano Celentano's accompanying group. They soon become a powerful Beat band featuring the amazing vocals of the late Demetrio Stratos (do i really need to tell you who he was?).
This album, originally released in 1968 via Ricordi, is a collection of great songs which includes their hit single Pugni Chiusi and an incerdible version of the Supremes' hit You Keep Me Hangin' On (Chi Mi Aiuterà).
Never properly reissued since its 1968 release, excluding a cheap re-release on Ricordi's own budget line Orizzonte to cash on Demetrio Stratos' success with Area, this is one album you can't really miss.
Original artwork. Sound restoring and master done by Roberto Zamori at Film Music Art Studio.
